While generative AI can make images that might be mind blowing, they are also becoming so overused. People look and think, “that’s AI” rather than see it as art. And so it’s losing it’s distinctiveness, especially with album covers these days. So many space music covers have some astronaut gazing at a planet or spaceship in the distance…
I am no professional, just a passionate amateur with a pretty decent eye who really likes creating visual art to accompany music. I do my best to avoid any kind of AI as much as possible.
I especially like classic mid-century minimalism, using geometry and abstract images and washes of color.
