DASK is an audio electronic engineer from the UK. His musical style ranges from Cinematic to Neoclassical with Berlin School roots. Major influences include Tangerine Dream, Erik Wøllo, Steve Roach, Vangelis, Hans Zimmer and modern cinematic scores.
My real name is David. My introduction to all this began at age 15, listening to Jean-Michel Jarre Concerts in China on a friend’s Hi-Fi after school. That moment started a lifelong interest in Hi-Fi and instrumental electronic music. This then led into electronic engineering, building my own amplifiers and audio systems, which eventually turned into the urge to create and explore sounds.
I do not know where this journey ends. My music never stays exactly the same and can shift between dark and light moments, 100% human created. The album covers are also fully human made and many are from my own photography.
